Earlier this summer, we invited you to show us your Dispatch cosplays. Our inboxes and hearts were flooded with more foam, hot glue, and red body paint than we could have ever hoped for. Before we dive in, we have to give a big, big THANK YOU to every single one of you mad scientist creators who entered the contest. You made this very hard for us, and we mean that as the highest of compliments.
As we shared in our original post, our panel of judges scored every finalist on four things: Creativity and Originality (40%), Emotional Impact (30%), Artistic Quality (20%), and Relevance to the Theme (10%). We averaged the scores, argued a little (with minimal bloodshed), and landed on our winners. Our grand prize winner takes home an XBOX Series X, and our runner-up gets an XBOX Series S. Ten additional winners receive a prize package full of Dispatch swag goodies.
Special thanks to our guest judge, Bon from Guillotine. We couldn't have done it without your keen expert eye!
Now - let's get into it.🦾
# 12: @horrorqueencosplay as Beef
Of all the characters in Dispatch, they chose the best boi, and we respect that deeply. A handmade kigu with perfect ears AND pockets? Beef would approve. Probably. He's a dog. But...we can tell.
#11: @arianna_does as Malevola
That sword prop means business, and the sheer commitment has us looking for the nearest cultist application. These are just some of the pieces Arianna put together - check out her pages for Malevola going through a portal, Malevola cooking videos, Malevola salsa dancing, and more. Much, much more.
#10: @poppylop_cos as Blonde Blazer

Fully handmade, right down to the boned corset. The sewing is beautiful, and the props for Blazer's powers are a creative touch. We're not done being impressed, yet.
#9: Chinbalus as Shroud

We wouldn't want to meet this Shroud alone in a bar at night. The mask comes complete with a voice changer, too. The slick photography only makes the presentation that much more intimidating.
#8: @SaraMoniCosplay as Coupé
Every inch of this cosplay is dagger sharp. She's giving so much Coupé attitude that, frankly, we were a little afraid to rank her.
#7: @khaosandra as Waterboy
You wouldn't believe us if we told you. Not only do they nail Waterboy's costume, they give full Waterboy "never-give-up" energy (watch to the end to see what we mean). We're getting sweaty just watching.
#6: @alejandrojoewono as Mecha Man
Absolutely amazing craftsmanship, and the lighting sells the Mecha Man tech perfectly. We'd love to hear from anyone who saw Alejandro stomping around the neighborhood through their front window. The man is Mecha again, indeed.

#5: @rockincosplay as Invisigal, Sonar, and Beef
There are so many details to love about this video, from the craftsmanship of the Sonar head with a fully functional jaw to the videography. But most especially, how they went the extra mile to put their own spin to the great Sonar stapler theories.

#4: @Morv_blorv as Sonar
These photos look exactly like something Sonar would post on his own Instagram, which is either a compliment or a warning. The mask is fantastic and surprisingly expressive.

#3: @appliednerdery as Shroud

Shroud would be proud, and maybe a little jealous. We're especially impressed with the use of a smartwatch for the calculating eye, a voice modulator, and built-in lighting, all in one mask.
#2: @tank_top_titan28 as Mecha Man
This video got a big laugh out of us, and a jaw drop at the end. The craftsmanship and weathering on the suit feel straight out of Dispatch. Enjoy the Xbox Series S!
#1: The Dance Party Group
This group of Dispatch fans went all the way above and beyond to recreate Robert Robertson's house party. Not only is every character featured, they also made sure to include both the Invisimech and Mechablazer dance partner options. Congratulations on the grand prize! To avoid an XBOX custody battle, we recommend a weekly rotation of ownership.

Honorable Mentions
We had so many entries that blew us away. We want to show you as many as we can every #fanartfriday on our socials in the coming weeks; but we couldn't end this blog without shouting out just a few more.
@highvoltagecos - Beach Phenomaman
LanMan - Mecha Man & Invisigal
@themerrymoth - Mecha Man and Blonde Blazer
@basicwitgirl - Blonde Blazer / Mandy
Aaliyah - Women of Dispatch
That's it for now, Dispatchers. You've set the bar ridiculously high, and we'll be thinking about this all the way till next summer. Be sure to keep an eye on our channels for more cosplay highlights in the weeks to come. 💙
